Football Recap: West Holt Falls to Elkhorn Valley in First Game of Season

West Holt unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 12-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elkhorn Valley Falcons on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

The critical scores for Elkhorn Valley came from Bj Taake and Michael McFarland.

Looking ahead, West Holt will challenge Central Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Elkhorn Valley, they will face off against Boyd County at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
