Meanwhile, Lanham Christian came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Falcons 80-62.

Lanham Christian's win came from a few key players Georgetown Prep will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Dominic Carr, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 17 boards. What's more, he also posted a 56% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tre Ray, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Lanham Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.

Lanham Christian's win bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Georgetown Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-13.
