St. Joseph Academy dropped down to 4-7 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a blow against the Los Fresnos Falcons, falling 87-26. The Bloodhounds were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-10.

When it comes to explaining why St. Joseph Academy lost, don't look at Luisalfonso Zolezzi. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Gavin Cisneros, who earned four points.

As for Los Fresnos, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Los Fresnos to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Munoz, who shot 44% from the field to rack up 22 points. Eric Salazar was another key player, going 6-for-11 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds.

St. Joseph Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-22 victory against IDEA North Mission on the 5th. As for Los Fresnos, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 84-44 win against Lopez on the 5th.
