Baseball Recap: Caldera Comes Up Short

Caldera was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-1 to the Ridgeview Ravens. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Ridgeview this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-2 loss on Wednesday.

Caldera's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Ridgeview, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Caldera is taking a road trip to face off against Mountain View at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ridgeview, they will host Bend at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ravens' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lava Bears have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
