Volleyball Recap: Catalina Foothills Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Catalina Foothills and Chaparral squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Catalina Foothills had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Firebirds. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Chaparral's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Avery Crain, who had nine digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Caprice Cooper, who had 14 digs.

Catalina Foothills' defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Chaparral, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-5 record this season.

Catalina Foothills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chaparral, they will host Arizona College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
