Softball Recap: Santa Fe Indian Takes a Loss

Santa Fe Indian suffered their biggest defeat since March 15th on Tuesday. They lost 16-2 to the West Las Vegas Dons. The loss continues a trend for the Braves in their meetings with the Dons: they've now lost six in a row.

Adrianne Herrera was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Santa Fe Indian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for West Las Vegas, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Looking ahead, Santa Fe Indian will be playing at home against Robertson at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Las Vegas, they will venture away from home to square off against Silver at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Fighting Colts will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Dons surely won't give up without a fight.
