Volleyball Recap: Poly Takes a Loss

Poly was the 3-1 winner over Arleta when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Parrots fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Parrots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Poly took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 15-25, 25-19, 15-7.

Poly's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Arleta, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Coincidentally, Poly and Arleta will both be playing Grant the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Lancers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Parrots will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
