Basketball Recap: Empire Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Empire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 44-13 loss at the hands of the Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles.

Among those leading the charge was Kaya Olafson, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenna Stockton, who posted ten points and three steals.

Empire's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Empire and Scottsdale Christian Academy will both be playing ALA - Ironwood the next time they take the court. The Ravens will head out to face the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
