Baseball Game Preview: Dover Eagles vs. Eastern York Golden Knights

The Dover Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Eastern York Golden Knights at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Dover is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Dover lost 18-3 to West York Area on Wednesday.

Dover saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Ferguson, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Those RBI were Ferguson's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Eastern York came up short against Kennard-Dale on Wednesday and fell 8-5. The Golden Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Braylon Mills made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Dover's record is now 2-15. As for Eastern York, their record now sits at 6-12.

Dover suffered a grim 8-2 defeat to Eastern York when the teams last played back in April. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
