Franklin won the last time they faced Indian Trail and things went their way on Thursday too. The Franklin Sabers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Indian Trail Hawks 76-31. Given the Sabers' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Hawks are ranked 343rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Indian Trail lost, don't look at Jack Zeller. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points and five boards. Caden Williams was another key player, putting up five points and five assists.

Franklin is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points over those games. Indian Trail dropped their record down to 5-18 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.
