Baseball Game Preview: Lansingburgh Knights vs. Ichabod Crane Riders

Lansingburgh hasn't had much luck against Ichabod Crane recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Riders at 4:30 p.m.

Lansingburgh is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They lost 12-0 to Mohonasen.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Ichabod Crane ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against Voorheesville by a score of 6-2. Winning may never get old, but the Riders sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Ichabod Crane pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lansingburgh, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
