Baseball Recap: Regis Jesuit Gets the Win

After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Regis Jesuit brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They came out on top against the Highlands Ranch Falcons by a score of 11-6 on Tuesday. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Ryan Neumann looked comfortable as he struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Diesel Bernosky was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Chase Massey was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.

Regis Jesuit's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Highlands Ranch, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-7.
