Football Recap: Elk Grove Comes Up Short

Elk Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 31-13 bruising from the Glenbrook North Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Grenadiers of the 34-24 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2017.

Elk Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Glenbrook North, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Elk Grove will welcome Deerfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glenbrook North, they will head out on the road to square off against Buffalo Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
