Volleyball Recap: Lynchburg HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Lynchburg HomeSchool was the 3-1 winner over Southwest Virginia Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of the Conquerors by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. While the Patriots didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Conquerors 25-20 in the first set.

Lynchburg HomeSchool actually scored more points across those five sets (110-107), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 20-25, 20-25, 27-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Lynchburg HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southwest Virginia Academy, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Looking ahead, Lynchburg HomeSchool will face off against New Covenant at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwest Virginia Academy, they will host Jefferson Christian Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
