Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Page County). They put the hurt on the Madison County Mountaineers with a sharp 23-8 win on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Page County pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Madison County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Coming up, Page County will be playing at home against Strasburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Madison County, they will head out to take on Luray at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.47 runs per game on average), something the Mountaineers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
