Softball Recap: ALA - Gilbert North Takes a Loss

ALA - Gilbert North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-5 to the Poston Butte Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-11 last Monday.

Makenzi Ravelo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-3. Londyn Webster also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

ALA - Gilbert North's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Poston Butte, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. ALA - Gilbert North will venture away from home to square off against Douglas at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Poston Butte, they will head out to face off against Coconino at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
