Basketball Game Preview: Nocona Indians vs. San Saba Armadillos

The Nocona Indians will square off against the San Saba Armadillos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Nocona sitting on 16 straight victories and San Saba on 17.

Nocona is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They managed a 46-41 win over Panhandle. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Indians' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Panthers are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, San Saba didn't have too much trouble with LaPoynor on Monday as they won 67-49.

Nocona's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 31-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points over those games. As for San Saba, their victory bumped their record up to 32-6.
