A win for Riverside Christian just wasn't in the cards on Tuesday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were beaten by the Chiefland Indians 58-9. The Wranglers haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Chiefland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brianna Bell out in front who earned ten points in addition to eight steals. Bell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 27 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Bailey Bird, who scored ten points along with six steals.
Riverside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chiefland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Riverside Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Northside Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chiefland, they will play host again on Thursday to welcome Saint Francis Catholic, where tip off is scheduled at 6:00 p.m.
