Northtown extends road losing streak to seven

Recap: Northtown Pumas vs. Walther Christian Academy Broncos

This season hasn't been kind to the Northtown Pumas, who are still winless after their ninth matchup. They had to suffer through a rough 67-13 loss at the hands of Walther Christian Academy. Northtown was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-7.

Walther Christian Academy was led to victory by Jocelyn Rivera and Saniyya Harvey. Rivera scored 15 points along with nine assists and four steals, while Harvey scored 36 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Harvey has scored at least a third of Walther Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yanni Hoskins, who scored four points along with four steals.

Northtown's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.4 points per game. As for Walther Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.
