It was fun while it lasted, but Gladstone's undefeated season came to an end after 11 games on Tuesday. The match between them and the Negaunee Miners didn't end well, with the Gladstone Braves falling 45-28. The game marked the Braves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Gladstone still got an impressive performance from Lillie Johnson, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. That was a full 46.4% of Gladstone's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Gladstone fell to 11-1. As for Negaunee, they pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Calumet the next time they take the court. Gladstone will head out to face Calumet at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, while Negaunee will host them at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th.
