Volleyball Recap: J.R. Tucker Takes a Loss

If J.R. Tucker was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Thomas Jefferson last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Godwin Eagles on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

J.R. Tucker now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Godwin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-14.

Looking ahead, J.R. Tucker will face off against Mechanicsville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Godwin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
