Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Jefferson Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Summit Christian Academy Falcons, falling 3-0. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Summit Christian Academy scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 25-21.

Jefferson Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Summit Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 4-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Jefferson Christian Academy will square off against Ballard Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Teays Valley Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
