Madison is 9-1 against Brandeis since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Mavericks will head out to take on the Broncos at 5:00 p.m. Madison will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Madison narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Johnson 3-2.

Meanwhile, Brandeis lost 12-5 to Clark on Tuesday. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lily Ramirez and Payton Moore stepped up to the plate in a big way. Ramirez went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Moore went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Reagan Gallegos also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Brandeis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Madison, their victory bumped their record up to 17-7.

Madison got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Brandeis by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mavericks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
