Volleyball Recap: Menifee County Comes Up Short

Menifee County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the West Carter Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Menifee County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Carter, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, West Carter will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenup County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Menifee County will be paying especially close attention to the Comets' contest: after the Comets face off against Lawrence County, they'll take on Menifee County again at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
