Volleyball Recap: Union City Comes Up Short

Union City lost against North Bergen last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Soaring Eagles fell 2-0 to the Bruins. The Soaring Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Union City's record is now 7-10. As for North Bergen, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Union City has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Elizabeth on the 21st. As for North Bergen, they will welcome Garfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins are facing the Boilermakers at the right time seeing as the Boilermakers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
