West Linn and Central Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but West Linn had to settle for second. They fell 21-14 to the Rams. The matchup was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Lions couldn't quite close it out.

When it comes to explaining why West Linn lost, don't look at Cohen Bissell. Despite the final result, he rushed for 162 yards and one score while picking up 8.1 yards per carry.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Linn fell to 11-1. As for Central Catholic, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

West Linn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Catholic, they will take on Lake Oswego at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Lakers have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests.
