Volleyball Recap: Pelham Takes a Loss

Pelham lost against Chelsea two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 3-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Despite the loss, Pelham saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kayla Girardin had nine digs and one assist.

Pelham's defeat dropped their record down to 14-28. As for Chelsea, their win bumped their record up to 21-19.

Pelham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chelsea, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Spain Park on the 15th.
