While losing is never fun, Wichita HomeSchool can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool is ranked 68th).
Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool found their leader in underclassman Sami Baum, who scored 18 points. Laurel Schwensen was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Wichita HomeSchool are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
