Basketball Recap: Clarkrange Comes Up Short

Clarkrange entered their matchup against Pickett County on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The contest between the Clarkrange Buffaloes and the Pickett County Bobcats didn't end well, with the Clarkrange Buffaloes falling 84-65. The Buffaloes just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Clarkrange's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Pickett County, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarkrange will venture away from home to face off against Stone Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Clarkrange is facing Stone Memorial at the right time seeing as Stone Memorial is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Pickett County, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Clinton County at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
