Soccer Game Preview: Stagg vs. Homewood-Flossmoor

The Stagg Chargers will square off against the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stagg has given up an average of 3.1 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Stagg lost 7-2 to Lincoln-Way West on Tuesday. Stagg haven't had much luck with Lincoln-Way West recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, Homewood-Flossmoor didn't have quite enough to beat Sandburg on Tuesday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Homewood-Flossmoor have lost by just one goal.

Stagg's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Homewood-Flossmoor, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
