Baseball Recap: Bradford Prep Takes a Loss

Bradford Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-3 to the Pine Lake Prep Pride. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Bradford Prep got a good showing from Patrick Colburn, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Bradford Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Harmon, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that Harmon launched this season.

Bradford Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Pine Lake Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

While Bradford Prep had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
