Basketball Recap: Santa Barbara's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Santa Barbara entered their tilt with Ridgefield on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took down the Ridgefield Tigers 66-52.

Santa Barbara had a senior duo take command as Luke Zuffelato posted 20 points in addition to eight boards and five assists and Diesel Lowe went 9 of 18 en route to 22 points and six assists. Zuffelato's afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Carter Battle was another key player, putting up nine points and five assists.

Santa Barbara's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.3 points per game. As for Ridgefield, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2.

Santa Barbara didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 87-66 win against Pacifica on the 22nd. Ridgefield has also already played their next game (against Warde/Ludlowe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
