Baseball Recap: Greenup County Takes a Loss

Greenup County was the 10-2 winner over Russell when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Musketeers fell 6-2 to the Red Devils on Monday. The Musketeers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sawyer Hatfield made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Greenup County: the team is 8-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 8-17 otherwise.

Greenup County's record is now 16-19. As for Russell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-12 record this season.
