Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt lost against Southridge back in March of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Roosevelt Roughriders took a 68-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southridge Skyhawks.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Southridge, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Roosevelt will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cleveland at 7:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Southridge also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Churchill at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
