Football Recap: Legacy Lions vs. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers
Legacy had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost to the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers on the road by a 28-14 margin.
Although Legacy took the loss, they still got scores from Jesse Tudor Jr and Deion Jackson.
A big part of Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's victory came down to the chemistry between Rico Buitrago and his top target Aaron Raines. Buitrago threw for 258 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes while Raines picked up 175 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Raines showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 65 yards.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Legacy will head out to take on Olympic Heights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Titusville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
