Caribou barely beat Fort Kent the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings blew past the Warriors 12-2 on Thursday. Considering the Vikings have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Caribou and bumps their season record up to 7-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Fort Kent, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caribou will face off against Ellsworth at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Fort Kent, they will challenge Southern Aroostook at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
