Joaquin is 7-1 against Timpson since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Joaquin Rams are taking a road trip to challenge the Timpson Bears at 6:05 p.m. Joaquin's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Timpson's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Joaquin wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered against the Bobcats since April 7, 2017.

Brennan Kilpatrick was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, Joaquin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Duncan McCann, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was McCann's first of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Timpson). They blew past San Augustine 15-0 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won three in a row.

Joaquin has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. Timpson's win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Joaquin skirted past Timpson 5-4 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Does Joaquin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Timpson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
