Basketball Recap: Straughn Takes a Loss

Straughn won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They lost 52-26 to the Bullock County Hornets. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Clark Gay was Straughn's leading scorer, having posted five points. Noah Fowler held things down on the boards with six rebounds. Clark Jordan took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Straughn's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Bullock County, their win bumped their record up to 2-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Opp the next time they take the court. Bullock County will host Opp at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Straughn will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
