Recap: Quincy Jackrabbits vs. Royal Knights
After a string of four wins, the Quincy Jackrabbits's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Royal by a score of 49-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Quincy has suffered yet this season.
Several Jackrabbits players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Pierce Bierlink, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of julian Ibarra, who scored 13 points.
Quincy's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Royal, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quincy will take on Cascade at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Cascade will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 318th, while Quincy is ranked 44th). As for Royal, they will be playing at home against College Place at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. College Place is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
