Volleyball Recap: Riverdale Comes Up Short

Riverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodland Wolfpack. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2019.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Woodland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Riverdale will be taking part in a tournament against Woodward Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Woodland, they will square off against South Gwinnett at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
