Needles has gone 8-2 against White Pine recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mustangs will head out to face off against the Bobcats at 12:30 p.m. Needles is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Like Needles, White Pine also got a great game from a two-way player: Maddox Sedlacek. Throwing, Sedlacek tossed two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Meanwhile, Cooper Reed didn't allow a single hit and allowed only two earned runs while striking out six over four innings pitched. Sedlacek has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. At bat, Sedlacek went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one run, while Reed went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, White Pine got a big performance out of Jacob Derbidge, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Derbidge is becoming a predictor of the Bobcats' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 10-1 (and 3-6 when he doesn't).
