Softball Recap: Northeast Jones Tigers vs. Mendenhall Tigers

Northeast Jones entered their tilt with Mendenhall with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over the Mendenhall Tigers. Northeast Jones might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Caroline Myrick and Jasmine Jones were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Myrick tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. Meanwhile, Jones pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also didn't allow any walks). At the plate, Myrick got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and a triple, while Jones went 1-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and two RBI.
