It was a proper cat-fight when West Johnston took on North Johnston on Wednesday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

West Johnston was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-27, 25-20, 25-15.

Kylee McArtan paced West Johnston's offense, picking up 13 kills. McArtan got some help from Jadelyn McNutt and her 24 assists. McArtan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

West Johnston's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for North Johnston, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Johnston will head out to face off against Triton at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Johnston, they will face off against Eastern Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
