Soccer Recap: Seton Comes Up Short

Seton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chelsea Academy Knights.

Seton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Chelsea Academy, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Seton will challenge Cornerstone Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chelsea Academy, they will take on Trinity Christian at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Chelsea Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
