Softball Recap: East Hartford Takes a Loss

East Hartford was the 16-8 winner over RHAM when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets came up short against the Raptors on Wednesday, falling 11-5. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eliana Tena made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Kolbie Cumento was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

East Hartford now has a losing record of 5-6. As for RHAM, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

East Hartford will challenge Edwin O. Smith at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for RHAM, they will square off against Glastonbury at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
