Softball Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

Easley hit Greenwood with a five-run sixth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 9-3 to the Green Wave. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in April.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Easley, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-12 record.

As of now, neither Greenwood nor the Green Wave have any future games scheduled.
