The Arroyo Valley Hawks will take on the Rialto Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Arroyo Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 35 points per game this season.

Arroyo Valley fought the good fight in their overtime game against Bloomington on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 16-14. The matchup marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Although Arroyo Valley took the loss, they still got scores from Kymani Nolley and Eddie Pimentel.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rialto, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in September. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Fontana 19-16. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Steelers: they've now won three in a row.

Rialto's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Arroyo Valley, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 5-1.

Arroyo Valley was dealt a bruising 54-15 loss at the hands of Rialto when the teams last played back in October of 2022. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Hawks were down 35-7.
