Football Recap: West Windsor-Plainsboro South Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for West Windsor-Plainsboro South's offense. They were dealt a 42-0 defeat at the hands of the Hamilton Hornets on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 30-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2017.

Hamilton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Deshawn Jones out in front who picked up 96 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 59 yards and one score.all of that, receiving production came thanks to one massive catch Cullen Bressler was another key signal caller, throwing for 130 yards and one touchdown on only five passes.

West Windsor-Plainsboro South's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Hamilton, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

West Windsor-Plainsboro South will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hightstown at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Hamilton, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 19-13 win against Nottingham on the 4th.
