Soccer Game Preview: Proctor vs. West Rutland

The Proctor Phantoms will challenge the West Rutland Golden Horde at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Proctor's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, it was close, but Proctor sidestepped Long Trail for a 3-2 win. Proctor haven't had any issues with Long Trail recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, West Rutland kept a clean sheet against Sharon Academy on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Phoenix. The result was nothing new for West Rutland, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

West Rutland's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Proctor, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6-1.
