Flag Football Recap: Columbus Extends Road Winning Streak to Nine

Columbus never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Wheeler Wildcats 24-0. The game marked the Blue Devils' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Columbus found their leader in sophomore Isabella Luke*, who picked up 83 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Columbus didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Harmony Franklin.

Columbus' win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.3 points on average over those games. As for Wheeler, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Columbus has already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Osborne on the 20th. As for Wheeler, they will take on Kennesaw Mountain at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
